The Wynn Tourneys are very popular, the day we visited most recently (early December, 2005) the poker room was packed and about 140 players were in the main tournament. The satellites in the morning usually have 4 or 5 tables going constantly from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM. Buy in to the satellites for the main event are $80 for the Tues-Thurs noon tourneys and $125 for the Friday main event. These single table satellites send 2 winners to the noon tournament. Rounds are 15 minutes and players start with 1,000 in chips. Blinds begin at 25-25, then 25-50, then doubling every level from then on. Satellite winners must play in the same day's tournament.
