Wynn Resort Poker Room

To say we are impressed with the Wynn poker room is an understatement. The poker room at the Wynn Resort is divided into cozy sections of 5 or 6 tables each, with a high stakes area 2 steps up, similar to the design of the Bellagio poker room. A very elegant, classy place, not near other gambling, down a beautiful corridor across from the Corsa Cucina Restaurant. Also, the poker room is next to the entry to and from the self parking garage. TV monitors for sporting events are everywhere, high up on the walls near the ceiling. Lots of beige moulding against brown walls, very beautiful, classy rails. Lately, during a mid-June 2005 Sunday night visit, we were surprised to see almost all tables in action.

Games: $4-$8, $5-$10, $8-$16, $15-$30, $20-$40, $40-$80 Texas Holdem, No Limit Hold'em with $1-$3, $2-$5, and $5-$10 blinds with $100, $200, and $500 min and no max buy-ins, 7-card stud $15-$30 and $20-$40 Hi-Lo, and Omaha Hi-Lo $6-$12
Tournaments: Yes, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri at Noon
Comps: Between $1 & $1.50/hour based on the game you're playing, using your Player's Club card which is called the "red" card.

Poker rates : Play 6 hours a day and receive a hotel room rate at Wynn Resort of $129 Sun-Thurs and $199 Fri-Sat
