10,500 square feet of casino space was transformed at the Venetian to a poker room worthy of being called one of the premiere poker rooms in Las Vegas, "draped in rich leather and wood, and thoughtfully equipped with the latest
technology". The Venetian Poker Room, which opened Apr 2, 2006, is located directly underneath the famous Tao night club, just inside the central strip entrance and to the left. There is a "Separate high-stakes area, featuring seven high-limit tables, two relaxation areas, butler service, and gourmet dining". Also "21 large-screen plasma televisions, adjustable chairs with wheels for comfort,
and safe-deposit boxes for players." Also, special parking priveleges are available for poker players at the Venetian as follows... "To provide our poker players with easier access to The Venetian, poker players will be able to obtain a parking pass which allows you special valet parking as well as access to an exclusive “Poker Parking Only” area on the 5th floor of the parking garage. Poker Players can obtain their card from the poker room manager. (Based on availability.)"
