Tuscany Poker Room

The poker room at Tuscany Casino is a nice little separate room near the main entrance of the casino. Opening in August, 2005, management decided early on to attract poker players by offering many different kinds of promotions, running concurrently to each other. Ever-changing, it seems they were willing to try almost anything, for example, 10 AM freeroll tournaments with a $300 prize fund with no requirements other than to show up as one of the first 40 players (this promotion came to an end in late September 2005). Another promotion running during our visit (football season 2005) was a Monday night football pool where you earn a box on the football chart based on something you did during your poker play. The Tuscany Poker Room bucks the recent policy trend of completely non-smoking rooms, by allowing smoking from the hours of 12 midnight to 8 AM and also they allow smoking at the bar.
