South Point Poker Room

Opened Late December, 2005

The South Point Poker Room (formerly South Coast) is a very friendly, comfortable place, located on the opposite end of the casino from the parking strucuture. After you've been there once, you can figure out where to park outdoors that will be very close to one of the minor entrances. The area is not a separate "room", but is in an open area adjacent to a large lobby which leads upstairs to another part of the resort. There is plenty of room for expansion into that lobby. The whole casino is geared to attract locals who live in the extreme southern part of the Las Vegas valley, or to Southern California travellers on their way to or from Las Vegas, because the South Point is located right off of I-15 and is the first casino/resort seen coming from L.A. besides the Primm and Jean, NV resorts.
