Paris Las Vegas Poker Room

Paris Opens New Poker Room 4/07

In early September, 2005, Paris decided to cave into the pressure to have their own poker room, or rather poker area, despite the reluctance to go up against Bally's, their sister casino which shares the same parking structure and is connected by an indoor passageway of shops. The area sat out on the casino floor next to a bar and near other table games and slots. As of April, 2007, the next step was taken and a brand new poker room was built along with the remodeling of the sportsbook. The new poker room at Paris is part of a 3-plex of establishments, 1st, the bar, then the poker room, then the sportsbook, where in order to get to the poker room, you have to pretty much go through the bar, and in all 3 places, cell phone use is prohibited because of sportsbook laws. The tournament schedule at Paris is unique and is catching on very nicely. Every 2 hours, on the odd 1/2 hour, they hold a $65 buy-in freezeout. Paris' cheapest limit game is $3-$6.
