Las Vegas Hilton, formally known as the LVH Las Vegas Hotel and Casino, is an off-strip hotel and casino situated on 3000 Paradise Road in Paradise, Nevada. It is famous for being home to one of the world’s largest Race & Sports Books. The hotel has roughly 3,000 hotel rooms and about 300 suits. The casino takes up 74, 000 sq ft of space.
In 2004, Las Vegas Hilton was sold to Colony Capital LLC, but could keep the name Las Vegas Hilton due to a license agreement. When the license agreement was terminated in 2012, the property was renamed LVH Las Vegas Hotel and Casino.
LVH is located just one block from The Strip, next to the famous 3,200,000 sq ft Las Vegas Convention Center. (It also has its own 200,000 sq ft convention center.) A monorail transports passengers between LVH and The Strip.
Las Vegas Hilton closed its poker room in October 2007.
The Las Vegas Hilton poker room had been inaugurated in September 2005 after being closed for many years, but due to an insufficient interest in poker among the casino guests the poker room was closed again just two years later.
The Las Vegas Hilton poker room used to have 11 poker tables with automatic shuffle machines, and a digitized player waiting list displayed on large plasma monitors. It was even possible for hotel guests to check the waiting list from the comfort of their own hotel room. For added convenience, the poker room featured a self-serve coffee bar with pastries. The comps rate was $1 per hour of play.
Before it closed down, the Las Vegas Hilton poker room offered Texas Hodl’em only, $3-$6 and $4-$8 with a 1/2 kill and $1-$2 no-limit with a $50- $300 buy-in. There was also a nice progressive Royal Flush jackpot available. Tournaments were offered Monday – Thursday, plus $60 Sit & Go’s.
Las Vegas Hilton (LVH) has a large selection of table games in their 95,000 sq ft casino. Examples of available games are Singel Deck 21, Double Deck 21, Multiple Deck 21, Roulette, Baccarat, Craps, Big Six, Pai Gow Poker, Three Card Poker (Casino Brag), and Ultimate Texas Hold’em (a type of Casino Hold’em).
The Las Vegas Hilton Casino also boosts a super-modern virtual pit with digital games on the main casino floor. Why not try the fully automated Double Zero Roulette, the Royal Match 21 side bet for Blackjack or the dice game Shoot to Win Craps?
