Imperial Palace Poker Room
Poker Room Now on Main Level
The 3rd level poker room at Imperial Palace is no more. The new location, on the main floor of the casino, just inside the front entrance, is a step up in class and comfort, though a bit noisy from the nearby slots and the famous Imperial Palace rock music within earshot. An nice L-shaped bar within the poker room's confines satisfies thirsty poker players adding quality to the poker room. A large TV monitor for sporting events in the corner is visible from most locations in the room. The same number of tables (10) as were in the previous upstairs location, are spread out a bit more than before. Imperial Palace brought their famous over-sized poker tables down from upstairs which are surrounded by comfy chairs. Comps are at $2.00/hour for an unlimited number of hours, down from the previous $3.00/hour but still the best deal in town. Also, the midnight Monday & Wednesday tourneys were scrapped. With the high-visibility location, we expect the move to be a positve one. Enjoy it while you can because Imperial Palace may be another victim of the implosion/wrecking ball syndrome in about a year as Harrah's Entertainment, the owner has big plans for that area of the strip.
