Poker and the Hooters Girls!! What a concept. My buddy turbo tells us he heard that you can win with a large pair at Hooters Poker Room. We were there at around noon on Feb 3 and there was quite a crowd throughout the casino including the poker room. Located way in the back, in a separate room, noisy and crowded, we got a word in with the manager. Expansion will be taking place outside the door, slots will be removed and a no limit section will be added. Tournaments will be coming, comps for the players and possibly other promotional goodies too. We'll return in a month with an update. OK, well it's been 9 months and we returned (Oct 26, 2006) and there's been no expansion, but there are now tournaments! (How many poker rooms in Vegas can you think of that offer no tournaments these days?? Answer, we don't know but it's got to be less than 5.)
