Green Valley Ranch Poker Room

The Green Valley Ranch Poker Room opened August 17, 2005 with 11 tables. The room is very classy, has nice chairs and tables and lots of room between the tables. TV monitors for sporting events are everywhere. A bar exclusive to the poker room is featured. The large and comfortable sports book is just steps away. The poker room is only going to be there for about a year at which time Green Valley Ranch will be expanding the room to allow for approximately 18 tables. On our visit Aug 27, 2005, we saw every table full with a fairly long waiting list for most games. No tournaments are scheduled as of yet but we'll keep you posted should they begin such a schedule. An usual rule in use at the poker room at Green Valley Ranch is that if 2 players are away from the table and then a 3rd player decides to get up for a break, this 3rd player will be thrown out and replaced by a new player from the waiting list should he/she miss a blind.
