Excalibur Poker Room

New Location

The Excalibur Poker Room has moved, more to the center of the casino floor. The old location was near the west entrance and is now occupied by the new sports book. There was a decrease in number of tables from 20 to 14. The new room is surrounded by a 3 foot wall, above which is topped by glass for an addtional 3 feet or so. The Excalibur Poker Room is well known for it's "kitchen table" poker, friendly games for novices. Their $1-3 non-structured game is offered so that a beginner can play a little longer than a structured $2-$4 game. But I don't believe it makes much difference when the players get wild and crazy, which they do at Excalibur's Poker Room a lot. If your luck is going well, you can win a lot in a short time, and if not, you'll lose just as much just as quickly. Definiitely a fun place to be late at night. They have a Bad-Beat jackpot, and a "Consolation Wheel," (not for the $1-$3 game), where if you lose your hand to pocket aces in hold-em, you get to spin the wheel and win some money.
