Titan Poker
Titan Poker sponsors a lot of private freerolls which is the biggest reason for you to download and become a member of this fine poker site. The freerolls pay out a far greater amount of cash prizes than most generic poker site freerolls. As with Everest Poker, once again patience will be your friend and you'll be amazed at your results.
Titan Poker is a great place to fulfill your goals of building a small bankroll which you can save for later to withdraw money out of and dump into another poker site, one that involves itself more with the World Series of Poker, such as the sites you'll find in later steps. After you've made a little money on Titan Poker, don't be tempted to buy into tournaments that would put you into more than 25% of your bankroll. If you have $5.00 there don't pay more than $1.25 for an entry fee. Master the lower levels (which won't take a whole lot of skill) before moving to the higher buy-in levels. You can be sure you're doing this by paying attention to this very important 25% rule. But on the other hand, don't get hooked on freerolls to the point that you deny yourself the chance to try the buy-in tournaments, which will promise you a better return and you'll experience less variance when buying into tournaments where sometimes the players there are a bit more sensible than the freerolling, freewheeling all-in mainiacs. The problem you'll encounter at the freerolls is that players are willing to raise, re-raise, and go all in with almost any 2 cards, making it a little frustrating when you find yourself to be one of the best players in the tournament, get deep into it and almost into the money, then some foolish person draws out on you on the river with at most a marginal hand. Do not let frustration get to you. You need to welcome these types of players to the tournaments and though you won't take their chips every time, you'll eventually score some nice in-the-money finishes that will be rewarding and worth the wait.
You might find that you win $1 here, $3.75 there, $5.00 another time, etc. If you make it to $100 or so, you're ready for Step 2! So get going, click on the banner below or any of the links that say Titan Poker.
