Private Tournaments
You can play in special online poker tournaments that will not have an
overwhelming number of players, thereby increasing your chances to finish in the money. Normally, the owners of online poker forums will allow you to join their club for free and play in their private tournaments. Some of these forums will kick in $50 or $100 for a freeroll on Titan Poker, Absolute Poker, and others. Every once in awhile, you'll see bigger freerolls, like in the $200-$500 prize fund range. They want you to join the forum, contribute to it by posting messages there and download poker sites from their links. Many will give their website address in the tournament description area of the poker site that you're searching for tournaments to play in. I want you to join a few of these forums, maybe download a couple poker sites from their links and a couple more from us here at VegasTexasHoldem.NET. (Hint, when there's a choice, download from us!!) Just look at the schedule of freerolls and go to the website that's co-hosting the tourney with the poker site, follow their rules and you're in. The best part is that these private tournaments are usually free to enter and offer very decent cash prizes! Here's a great forum to join up with that has 2006 WSOP promotions of their own running right now as part of their league play...
